Health care settings across the South Shore and Montreal area are currently seeking employees trained in hygiene and sanitation. This new program, offered at the ACCESS Adult Education and Career Training Centre, offers hands-on training in cleaning and disinfection techniques and covers the regular maintenance and prevention methods. This program will also allow trainees to learn how to work effectively as part of health care teams.
Employment prospects are excellent for graduates of this program as it is specially designed to meet the needs of modern health care facilities.
Graduates from this five month program will receive an AVS (Attestation of Vocational Studies) and will be able to work in a broad range of health care locations.
Salary: Hourly rate starting at approximately 16.00$ /hour (para-public sector)
REGISTRATION AND PREREQUISITE INFORMATION:
- The course will be held from 8:30am to 11:30am and from 12:50pm to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Applicants must have completed Secondary 3 English, French and Math and be 16 years of age (or have completed a General Development Test)
- The cost of the course is $95.00
- Applicants should be fluent in English and have basic knowledge of French
